This is a giclee print of my original oil painting – painting information
print size: 5″ x 7″
image size: 4″ x 6″
unsigned and unframed
printed on 310gsm Hahnemühle Photo Silk Baryta paper – a high quality paper that is acid-free and meets the criteria for durability according to ISO 9706
Giclee prints are an extremely high quality digital print. The inks used are archival lightfast pigment inks – indicating long term stability of colour without fading for at least 100 years if kept properly.
Ideally the print should be framed behind glass and kept out of direct sunlight. If stored, it is best kept in an archival quality envelope or container.
* watermark will not appear on the print
The resolution of the photo is not accurate of the actual print image. The photos I have used on my website may appear a bit blurry due to low resolution, this helps to reduce load time – the images used for printing are at 300dpi.
The colours you see on your screen may differ a bit from the actual print. The colour profile I use is Adobe RGB (1998).
Postage and Delivery
Unsigned prints are sent direct from the printer to cut down on postage cost and delivery time.
Production time for prints can take up to a week – delivery time varies by location, a few days up to a few weeks. I would expect on average to receive your print in about two weeks.
Signed limited edition prints will take slightly longer to receive, as they are mailed to me first from the printer before I mail them off – on average possibly three weeks, or longer depending on your location.
At this time, I’m only offering flat rate delivery.
If there are any issues with the print, or there are extreme delays in delivery (over a month), contact me immediately so I can resolve the situation.
I will only offer an exchange or refund if an order is damaged due to shipping – so please make sure to read the product description and double check your order…I do know mistakes happen though, so if there is a mishap please contact me so we can arrange something.
If you have any issues, concerns, questions, suggestions, or comments please do feel free to contact me.
my own personal statement on quality
The colours and clarity of the images and prints are not exactly the same as the oil paintings, I have done my absolute best to accurately adjust the digital images, but I am not a professional photographer, so there are slight differences between the actual painting and the digital image. It is also difficult to capture the quality of oil paint in a photograph. I hold myself to high standards and know with time I will not only improve my skill of painting, but also improve the accuracy of the digital images.
